Will Georgioupoli be ready for the tourists?

With the first tourists arriving next week there is a lot of work still to be done! The Plateia itself is coming on - and the lads on motor biles have started to roar across it!! 

The  roads around the village are a problem still. Builders rubble, work going on, potholes, difficult to get around and the busses cannot get through as the side roads are not finished. They should have been done first methinks. The taverna, cafeteria and hotel owners are going all full speed ahead freshening up, painting, working, I will be interested to see next week if the roads are all cleaned up!! The beach was covered in seaweed two days ago, another job that must be done by the end of the week. I will go and take another look at the weekend!
