I'm back! Again! All my good intentions get buried under a pile of everyday happenings! Last night many people gathered at the town hall to show support for the new sewage system in Georgioupolis. One hotel owner is trying to stop the work as it affects their (Illegal!!!) taverna. The whole council agreed to fight for the work to go ahead and will be going together to the courthouse on Monday along with many residents This morning I attended a meeting of the steering committee for "Xeira Boithias" The group which includes residents, the Municipality, the Churches, Agia Sophia and Help in the home to help to provide year round support for the needy in Apokoronas.
