Keeping sprits up in Vamos
Yes all the cafe's are closed in Vamos, also hairdressers, tavernas etc and the square was deserted - well almost.
it was fun to hear a cacophony from up the road. A couple of shopkeepers had taken the time to give their shops a spring clean and had decided to make up a band. Baking tins, saucepans and spoons being bashed along with some singing and dancing in the street! Takes a lot to get the Cretans down for long!
