Listen to the lifeguard.

September and the weather is getting a hint of autumn on the way. A few clouds over the mountains But still warm enough for the beach The sea can be a little choppy You may find that the red or yellow flags are flying. Yellow - be careful Red, stay out of the water Check before you swim The day we went the yellow flag was flying and the lifeguard was very busy. The safest places to enter the water were marked by flags placed along the beach. ( Avoiding rip tides etc) Our lifeguards work very hard If you are asked by the lifeguard to come out of the water or are advised to swim further down the beach, please do as he asks Our lifeguard was patrolling both by foot and by quad bike He had to ask several people to come out of the water and had to help one person out who was struggling to actually get out of the shallows due to the undertow. Last year Apokoronas had no fatalities. Let's keep it like that.
